The Beach Cleaning Program of 2024

The Beach Cleaning Program that was organized was a real success, thanks to the collaborative efforts of the school and the Divisional Secretariat Office (DS). The initiative aimed at preserving the pristine condition of our beaches and maintaining their natural beauty. A significant amount of waste, including plastics, bottles, and other trash, was collected. This commendable environmental effort not only cleaned the beaches but also ensured that the collected waste was sent for recycling, marking a motivated step towards sustainability. Such programs are vital in educating the community about environment and the importance of keeping our natural habitats free from pollution.
