Deepavali (Dewali) Celebration

šŸŽ‰ Celebrating Deepavali: Honoring Tamil Heritage Through Learning
Deepavali (also called ” Diwali”) is a major festival known as the ā€œFestival of Lights,ā€ celebrated by Hindus, Tamils, Jains, Sikhs, and others across South Asia and the world.
At the OWF Free Education Unit, we recognize Deepavali, a cultural festival celebrated by Tamil communities as a meaningful learning experience for our preschool students.
This is a respect for the diverse cultural traditions of Sri Lanka. Through storytelling, art, and joyful activities, our young learners explore the values of light, unity, and renewal that DeepavaliĀ represents.
